Kids’ Ministry
LAUNCH is our kids' ministry, serving children from first through sixth grade. Energetic services take place every Sunday morning and Tuesday evening. A youth worship team and specially-trained leadership provides a learning environment committed to helping kids become leaders by serving others. At this age level, children are developing their character and beginning to experience peer pressure. LAUNCH focuses on preparing kids to be strong, influential leaders among their peers.
LAUNCH is located at the first entrance of the building as you enter the parking lot. Services are Sunday mornings at 9:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m., and Tuesday nights at 7:00 p.m. An adult must check-in and pick-up children. Fundraiser for VBS
We're hosting a barbecue at the church to help raise funds for Vacation Bible School this year. Please stop by after second service on Sunday, May 20, and buy your family lunch! We'll have hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, and lemonade. We hope to see you there!
Parent's Night Out
We're going to celebrate summer and the end of the school year with a LAUNCH movie night! Parents, drop your LAUNCH-aged kids off between 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, May 25. Kids, we'll be watching the new Chipmunks' movie, "Chipwrecked," playing games, and having pizza!
Summer is right around the corner and so is this year's Vacation Bible School! This year's VBS will be June 18 through June 22. This summer's VBS will feature a morning session and an optional afternoon session. The morning session will be from 9:30 a.m. to noon and will center around Group Publishing's "Sky" theme.
The afternoon session, also known as Camp St. Louis, will feature a fun-filled afternoon of field trips to various locations around St. Louis. We will return to church around 5:00 p.m. each day of camp. Our trips will include: the Gateway Arch, the St. Louis Zoo, Shaw Nature Reserve, a riverboat cruise, and swimming at two different aquatic centers! The approximate cost for the afternoon session will be $150 for the week. We will fundraise to bring this cost down.
