TurningPoint is a ministry for young adults, between 18 and 25, who are looking to make a difference in people's lives. Searching for a place where you can meet new friends, invite other friends, contribute to meaningful projects, and maybe even find your mate? We believe this group is for you!
If you're already married or have kids, do not shy away; this group is for you too! Our heart is to offer love, support, and encouragement to every person who walks through our doors. We are a "come-as-you-are" kind of group. There are no prerequisites. Naturally, being a church ministry, our ultimate goal is for everyone in the world to come to know Jesus, but our way of sharing Him with others is unconventional. We choose to care for others as He cares for us. We love hanging out and living life to the fullest through Christ. Come hang out with us and join in the conversation; ask questions as we discuss things like, "why do we believe what we believe?" We have a LOT of fun together, and you may find out that church is not as stuffy and judgmental as you may have experienced elsewhere in the past.
When we get together, we share life, volunteer with life-changing projects, pray for one another, and help each other grow into all that God has created us to be. We plan to have at least one event every month, which may include barbeques, bonfires, movie nights, bowling, volunteering for a worthy cause, or any number of other things. TurningPoint meets every Tuesday immediately following our regular midweek church service, usually beginning by 8:30 p.m. Meetings will last about an hour and take place in the little house on the parking lot of the church (also known as our food pantry). Pastor Carlos Sánchez is the leader of this ministry. If you're interested in finding out some more about us,
